BELIEVERS UNION WITH CHRIST: STUDY THROUGH THE BOOK OF EPHESIANS PART 20 (Ephesians 6:10-13)

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.” (Ephesians 6:10)

I believe Paul’s use of the word “finally” is not merely to signal a conclusion, but to draw our attention to the weight and importance of what he is about to say. His approach to the subject of spiritual warfare is just as important as everything he has said up to this point.

The life of a believer is unique in that we are constantly under attack by the enemy of our souls. Even though we are seated with Christ in the heavenly places, far above all principalities and powers, we still live in a fallen world where these forces operate. As a result, we experience their opposition and influence.

Therefore, Paul calls us to “be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.” The Christian journey is not for the faint-hearted. It requires endurance, courage, and persistence.
