TOPIC: THE REDEEMING FAITH: LESSON FROM THE BOOK OF RUTH Part 4 (Ruth 2:1-23)

When Boaz spoke with Ruth, he acknowledged the kindness and loyalty she had shown to Naomi after the death of her husband. He recognized her sacrifice, leaving her homeland, family, and gods to embrace Naomi, her people, and her God. Boaz saw this act of faith and devotion, and he responded with favor.

This teaches us an important lesson: God does not overlook acts of kindness and faithfulness. “For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints” (Hebrews 6:10). Ruth sowed loyalty, compassion, and faith, and in return she began to reap favor, protection, and blessing.
