TOPIC: THE EKKLESIA PART 9 (Hebrews 12:18-29)

“And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18, ESV)

He didn’t say, “You will build my Church,” but “I will build My Church.” This means the responsibility of preservation rests on Him, not us. We partner with Him in obedience and service, but the power and guarantee of success belong to Him alone.
So let us not fear—even when the Church is under attack, misunderstood, or marginalized in society. We are part of a Kingdom that cannot be shaken and a Church that cannot be overcome. Let us remain faithful, united, and confident in Christ’s unfailing word.
