TOPIC: THE BAPTISM OF POWER PART 1 (Acts 1:8, Luke 24:49)

The power of the Holy Spirit manifests in the life of a believer according to the divine assignment God has given them. This means the expression of that power is not random but intentional, it aligns with one’s calling, ministry, and purpose in the body of Christ. When a believer is anointed by the Holy Spirit, there is always an impartation of spiritual gifts and power that corresponds with their divine calling. God never sends anyone on a mission without equipping them with the power necessary to fulfill it (Acts 1:8).

Paul makes this clear in 1 Corinthians 12:4–7 (ESV):

“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.”
