THE NEW NHUMANITY IN CHRIST Part 4 (Galatians 5:16-25)
Before we were newly created in Christ, we lived “outside in”—governed by external impulses, fleshly desires, and worldly influences (Ephesians 2:2–3). Now, however, we are called to live “inside out.” The new life is a Spirit-controlled life, where the regenerated spirit influences the soul—our thoughts, will, and emotions. This is why we are instructed to “walk by the Spirit” (Galatians 5:16) and to set our minds on things above (Colossians 3:2).
