To understand what it means to walk in the Spirit, let us begin with Galatians 5:25. The verse says, “If we live by the Spirit…” This implies that before anyone can walk in the Spirit, they must first live by the Spirit. Therefore, walking in the Spirit means giving expression to the life of the Spirit within us. The Holy Spirit lives and works in us, and His primary role is to enable us to live the Christian life effectively. Our responsibility is to yield in obedience to His promptings.
