THE EKKLESIA PART 8 (Philippians 2:1-8)

“Let this mind be in you” is more than a suggestion; it is a command that calls us into a radical transformation. It is not just about behavior modification—it’s about identity. It is what sets us apart from unbelievers: not just what we do, but how we think, how we see others, and how we view ourselves in relation to God and His people.

To truly walk in unity as the Church, we must first learn to think like Christ. And to think like Him, we must learn from Him.

when Paul writes, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.”
What mind is Paul referring to? He defines it earlier in verses 3–4:
“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others” (Philippians 2:3–4). This “mind of Christ” is characterized by humility and self-sacrifice.
