THE CHRISTIAN BOUNDARIES Part 4

Acting in love requires us to exercise our freedom with great care. By following the example of Christ, we learn to balance our rights with our responsibilities, ensuring that our actions build up, rather than break down, the community of believers. Let our conduct be a testament to God’s love, safeguarding the faith of others and strengthening the unity of His body.

Therefore, as we navigate our daily lives, we must constantly ask ourselves: Does this action reflect love? Will it strengthen or weaken the faith of those around me? Our goal should always be to edify, encourage, and uplift others, ensuring that our liberty never becomes a stumbling block but rather a means of glorifying God.

The key to discerning our boundaries is to walk in the Spirit at all times (Galatians 5:16). One of the primary roles of the Holy Spirit is to open our eyes to our limitations and guide us in making wise choices. As Jesus promised, the Spirit of truth will guide us into all truth (John 16:13). In addition, 1 Corinthians 2:10 tells us that God’s Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God, enabling us to comprehend spiritual realities that help define our limits. Moreover, 1 John 2:27 assures us that the anointing we have received from Him remains in us, teaching us about God’s truth and empowering us to discern what is right and proper.
