READING THE BIBLE FOR A CHANGE Part 4 (1 Corinthians 2:6-15)

Obedience is the bridge between hearing and transformation. The one who “looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres” is the one who experiences the blessing of a changed life. Reading without obedience breeds self-deception (James 1:22), but reading with a heart ready to obey invites the Spirit to work in us, producing lasting change that aligns our lives with God’s will (John 14:21).

In short, the Bible changes us not when we admire it, but when we submit to it. Transformation is the fruit of truth applied in obedience.
