LESSONS FROM THE LIFE OF JOSEPH

TOPIC: LESSONS FROM THE LIFE OF JOSEPH Part 1

Family rivalry is a recurring theme in the story of God’s chosen people. This rivalry, often resulting in deep divisions and separations, resurfaces time and again, and it is vividly revived in the story of Joseph. Interestingly, this pattern of conflict can be traced as far back as Cain and Abel, or even as early as the confrontation between Adam and the serpent in the Garden of Eden. What we observe consistently in these stories is that such rivalry is often triggered or worsened by the failures of parental figures.
