BIBLE STUDY

When we extend generosity—whether by helping those in need or supporting the spread of the gospel—we are, in essence, offering a gift to God. Our financial support of the Church’s mission is not just beneficial for ministry work; it is also crucial for our own spiritual growth.

This reminds us of Christ’s admonition in Matthew 6:19, where He instructs us to lay up treasures in heaven. Similarly, in Mark 10, He tells the rich young ruler to sell his possessions and give to the poor in order to have treasure in heaven. These passages teach us that every sincere act of generosity—whether to the needy or in support of the gospel—is an acceptable sacrifice and a fragrant offering, pleasing to God.
