BELIEVERS UNION WITH CHRIST: STUDY THROUGH THE BOOK OF EPHESIANS PART 9 (Ephesians 2:11-21)

One of the profound works of the cross that is often overlooked is the creation of peace—not only between God and humanity, but also between human beings. The cross represents the end of every form of hostility rooted in race, ethnicity, or tribal identity. Paul declares that Christ “has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility” and has created “one new man in place of the two” (Ephesians 2:14–15).

In Christ, we no longer define ourselves by color, race, or background. We are now one new humanity, sharing the same Spirit and belonging to one Father over all (Ephesians 4:4–6). The church is not a collection of divided groups but a unified body formed by the cross.
