BELIEVERS UNION WITH CHRIST: STUDY THROUGH THE BOOK OF EPHESIANS PART 6 (Ephesians 1:15-23)

    Faith and Love

Faith in Christ is the means by which we are brought into union with Him and born into the family of God (John 1:12; Galatians 3:26). Through faith, we are separated from the world and joined to a new spiritual family. It is therefore natural—and necessary—that faith expresses itself through love for those who now share this common life in Christ. As Paul teaches elsewhere, “faith working through love” is what truly counts before God (Galatians 5:6; 1 Timothy 1:14).
