BELIEVERS UNION WITH CHRIST: STUDY THROUGH THE BOOK OF EPHESIANS PART 3 (Ephesians 1:3-14)
We are reminded once again that the believer’s union with Christ is the very heart of the Christian life. In Him, God has given us every spiritual blessing, full, eternal, and complete. In Him, we discover that these blessings were not accidents of history, nor rewards for human effort, but the unfolding of God’s sovereign will from before the foundation of the world. And in Him, we learn that all of these, our election, adoption, redemption, inheritance, and sealing, is ultimately designed to lead us into a life that reflects one supreme purpose: the praise of God’s glory.
