BELIEVERS UNION WITH CHRIST: STUDY THROUGH THE BOOK OF EPHESIANS PART 13 (Ephesians 4:11-16)
“And to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:24)
In this passage, Paul explains that this new identity is created after God Himself, in true righteousness and holiness. In other words, the new man is like God and therefore shares in holiness and righteousness. These are attributes of God which all who are in Christ now share (2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Corinthians 1:30; Philippians 3:9).
